I have to do something. So, here's the plan. I don't really have anyone to keep me accountable for these things, but at least if there's a list I might look at it? That's my hope.
~ eat healthier (any suggestions for some healthy meals or snacks that actually taste good)
~ exercise at least 20-30 minutes per day (already basically failing at this)
~ join a gym (as soon as we have the extra money)
~ get rid of things clothes that I don't (or can't) use. I have too much "stuff"
~ wake up earlier - to do devotions, prepare for the day, and to exercise
~ make meals to freeze. We've been eating out too much and fast food has been making me feel pretty sick and gross. Plus, it'll be helpful once my next class starts
~ cut back on coffee and soda
~ if I can't be in Mexico, be on my knees for them - stop being so frustrated about it and just wait on God (it's getting easier)
~ make more time to "catch up" on friendships. How do people know I want to hear from or spend time with them if I don't make the effort?
~ make Sundays about GOD!!! Prepare my heart for worship before I get to church
~ encourage the teens at Cross Current. Find a way to reach them where they are
~ improve my prayer life. I discovered this summer how much prayer really does work (I'm sometimes a little late to catch on). (more about this later)
~ change my attitude about my job
~ spend time daily with God. Put down the book / turn off the computer / put phone far away / I don't really need to eat all the food I cook and bake anyway
~ take Libby for walks. It's one more way to get moving!
~ do what small "cosmetic" jobs that I can around the house
~ change my attitude and stop overthinking
This list is long and I'm sure it will grow. It is daunting, but I know that small steps can really mean a lot and get me in the habit of doing things. I'm 26 and, while I am busy, I usually have some extra time on my hands most days. I need to make these improvements now. For myself, for my marriage, for God, for our future children, and for all of my relationships.

awesome list, andi! I am so proud of you... love you!
I totally relate. I have a similar list myself - now if I only I was disciplined enough to carry through. . . .
i came to your blog from seeing you win the soleil solene giveaway. i love this list. i feel like you just read my mind on EVERY.SINGLE.THING. if we lived close we could keep each other accountable. i dont even know you or your name but i know i want to make changes for God too. i try so many times to change and i ALWAYS give up for lack of seeing quick enough results or lack of motivation or whatever.
but i read this quote that says "change is not about perfection, its about progress." i think if in a month or 2 you feel different than you do today, then uve made progress. good luck!!!!!
